Other schools include St. Paul Technical College, University of St. Thomas, College of Saint Catherine, Hamline University and Metropolitan State University.

They truly serve their neighboring communities and afford residents easy access to pursue a quality education beyond high school, literally in their own backyard. For Mendota Heights residents there are three public schools within city limits with several others close by. The Brown Institute is a post high school institution with an enrollment of nearly 2,200 students. Friendly Hills Middle School has an active enrollment of over 700 while Mendota Elementary has approximately 350 students in grades KG-4.
